This policy is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). For visitors located in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may also apply.
Visiting the website
Each time you visit, the hosting provider’s server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser and operating system. This data is used solely to keep the website running properly and securely, and is deleted automatically after a short period.
Contact form and getting in touch
When you contact me via the form, by email or by phone, I process the data you provide: name, company, email address, phone number, message and attached files. It is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quotation.
Form messages are sent to my mailbox and stored in the website’s administration area. I keep them for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then for a maximum of 24 months after our last exchange, unless a contractual relationship requires longer retention.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses technical cookies, which are necessary for it to work, and, with your consent, analytics cookies. On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time.
Google Analytics : with your consent, I use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC, USA) to understand how the website is used: pages viewed, visit duration, approximate geographical origin and device type. The data is pseudonymised. It may be transferred to the United States, where Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Google Search Console provides me with statistics on the website’s presence in Google search results. This service does not place any cookies on your device.
Service providers and place of processing
The website and email are hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus) on servers located in France. The hosting provider’s backups are stored in Lithuania. I also make my own backups, kept on Google Drive and on a personal Synology server located in Switzerland. These providers process the data solely on my behalf.
Security
Communication with the website is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the administration area is protected, and regular backups are made.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time what data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing or withdraw your consent. Simply write to me at patric.dissard@robotmade.chYou can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
This policy may be updated, for example if the website changes. The version published on this page is the authoritative one.
